This is an external bullet camera which is IP rated for external use, the camera is high resolution with a vari-focal lens so could be used for facial recognition or to give an overview of an area. This camera would generally be fitted externally and would give a presence of CCTV to an area, thanks to the cameras infra-reds the camera is able to see up to 30m in pitch black situations. This camera comes with a lens which gives a field of view as illustrated in the above diagram. It also comes with fixings and fittings as well as an easy DC connector which enables you to connect many different types of power supply to the camera (providing it is of the correct voltage and current). This camera is designed to give a great image in day or night conditions. During the day the camera features backlight compensation and auto white balance to control the amount of light coming into the camera, while at night the camera has up to 30m of infra-red built in allowing the camera to produce a clear black and white image at night. This camera can be connected straight into a monitor via the appropriate cable for a simple surveillance system or into any of our Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) to enable the footage to be recorded onto a hard drive and played back upon request. If you would like to view this camera from a PC, you would either need a single channel video web server which will allow you to connect the camera into a computer network and view it using software or you could connect this camera into a multi channel networkable DVR which will allow multuiple cameras to be connected into your network.
