pass them directly onto your customer to avoid needless call outs. All the user
manuals and software that is packaged with the Silverline JPEG2000 and
Silverline Prospect MPEG-4 DVR's are available for download from here so no need
to worry if your customer has misplaced the accompanying CD or manual (hard
copies are available by post at an additional charge and can be found in the
online store). Of course if there are any Silverline related questions you have

Step by Step
Guides

hard drive. We perform the hard drive setup whenever we sell a DVR with a hard
drive. If you have bought the DVR separately to the hard drive (i.e. if you have
bought your own hard drive), this routine will need to be completed before you
can record.

recording frame rate. the unit is set to record at full frame rate as default
which will use up the hard drive quite quickly. reducing the frame rate even
slightly can improve the length of recording time. The DVR Recording Calculator

The Silverline Dual Codec Internet Relative Software suite contains all the programs needed to operate the advanced functions of the Silverline Dual Codec and Lite function DVR's. The suite includes the H.264 transmitter, the J2000 client program, the CD playback software, the CMS central monitoring station software and an overall IRS setup for multiple sites.
The Silverline Video Server S remote application is designed to allow up
to 10 simultaneous users log into the MJPEG SilverLAN video web server or
Silverline DVRPLUS DVR. Users can also log straight into this equipment straight
through internet explorer by use of a static IP address and a remote port
number.
The Silverline Video Server E remote application is designed to allow up
to 10 simultaneous users log in to any DVR in the Silverline MPEG-4 DVR range as
well as the MPEG-4 SilverLAN video web server. Users can also log straight into
this equipment straight through internet explorer by use of a static IP address
and a remote port number.
The Silverline JPEG2000 CD Backup Player software allows users to play
back footage recorded to a CD from a JPEG2000 Advanced DVR. Users can choose to
play back from the CD as single screen, multiplexed image or sequence.
Silverline JPEG2000 DVR's with firmware version 1.9 and above burn this software
automatically to burn footage CD's.

The DVR recording calculator is a Microsoft Excel sheet which allows you to calculate how much recording time you will get from a variety of DVRs with a variety of different hard drives at a variety of different quality levels and recording frame rates.
